Field and Forest Products was started in 1983 by Joe Krawcyzk and Mary Ellen Kozak. Their worthwhile mission is, “To provide superior mushrooms spawn, cultivation supplies, expertise, and education to inspire people to grow mushrooms either at home or commercially using environmentally and economically sustainable practices.”
If organic is important to you, then Field and Forest Products is for you because their mushroom spawn is, “is produced to certified organic standards.”
Their website is flush with mushroom information. They have a number of publications you can read, mushroom recipes, amazing resources, and more. If you are interested in learning more about growing mushrooms, check their site for great information.
After you learn about growing mushrooms you can buy a variety of products so you can grow them yourself. They have spawn, kits, substrates, tools, supplies, and more. As we mentioned, we’ll be giving away mushroom growing kits from Field and Forest Products, so follow us on social media to keep up with it.
